Helmet for a Racer
This is a helmet design I submitted for Arrow McLaren’s IndyCar competition for Nolan Siegel. The design was created to be worn at the Portland Grand Prix, held from August 23-25.
The Design
Portland is known for its outdoor activities, so I incorporated a topographical pattern inspired by the area surrounding the International Raceway. The hexagonal pattern symbolizes the changing colors of leaves throughout the seasons.
